"Wizard of Earthsea" centers on Ged, who was the greatest sorcerer in all Earthsea. The film is directed by Hayao Miyazaki's son, Goro, and is scheduled for release July, 2006 in Japan. I'm definitely one of the forums Miyazaki/Ghibli fanboys (hi box, PE1:))...and I've only seen about 5-6 of their films. Honestly some of the most consistently quality films from any one director I've seen. (+ Fireflies)
And, Ive really enjoyed the few LeGuin short stories I've read.
So I'm excited like whoa.
ps, lets make an effort to bring back "like whoa." It didnt get nearly as annoying as it could/should have back in ninety-nine.
Anyways...
Should be very interesting. (I hope, in a good way.) I still hope Miyazaki releases at least one more film, Howl being his last film wouldn't be very pleasing.
