 Christmas in the Clouds?
Just heard about it for the first time today. Due for release this Christmas, its a contemporary setting of a ski resort over the holidays. The small differences being director Kate Montgomery's confession she's never recognized a single indigenous personification on the big screen. I read today that she said something along the lines of "They have a great sense of humour, and it never comes across in film." So, its supposed to be a heartfelt little seasonal comedy. I'm interested though, in what humour will be inserted, as critics thus far have said its cute, but haven't sounded wowed by it.
Anyways, the film had mention in article today about how few movies this Christmas season have anything to do with the holidays. No Elf, 8 Crazy Nights, Grinch, and only a paltry re-release of Polar Exrpress. Within the article Christmas in the Clouds and Breakfast on Pluto were two smaller films that got coverage. Seems like the two of them might garner more attention as the season progresses.
Anyone heard anything more about it?
