Which was a travesty from a set design perspective!

You forgot A.I. which was nominated for Score and V.E.

I was truly shocked about The Terminal since they built an actual working airport terminal.

I didn't forget AI, I only listed his films that were released in the same year. AI had 2001 all to itself.

I expected The Terminal to at least get Art Direction... of course they had to nominate mostly period films instead. I really laughed when I saw the Art Direction clip for Finding Neverland. A WTF moment.

Perhaps a repeat of 97 instead.

Art direction and Set design always fall for the supernatural over the natural. Entire airport terminal or not, it still just looked like a boring old airport terminal.

I'm pretty sure War will atleast get some noms for effects, editting, and so forth. I could tell that just from looking at the trailer when the whole highway overpass collapses. It was quite incredible looking.

Vengence will get the major noms.
This is looking like 1993.
