Dune came out WAY too early to over come the handicap of being a genre film. Looks like another low ratings Oscars awaits us |

I think Wicked stole Dunes spot as the premier “commercial” movie for this years awards and it never recovered. Dune should still win best visual effects, even if Wicked/Nosferatu are likely to split the other tech awards. |
