Which film SHOULD win this award, in your opinion?

Strong category this year! Each film is an interesting and beautiful visual achievement in its own way, from the pop coloring and aspect-ratio storytelling of The Grand Budapest Hotel to the Bresson-esque B&W austerity of Ida and so on. My choice is Mr. Turner, though. It is the most finely photographed film of last year.

It would be embarrassing if Birdman loses this cat.

1. Ida
2. Mr. Turner
3. The Grand Budapest Hotel
4. Birdman
5. Unbroken

I'm so happy Ida showed up here. Incredibly deserving.
