LGBT Dorian Awards nominations

Quote:
The Gay and Lesbian Entertainment Critics Association, a tax-exempt, 501 C-6 nonprofit, is comprised of critics and entertainment journalists who write on television and film for noteworthy media outlets accessible in the U.S.
Formed in 2009, GALECA and its annual Dorian Awards toast the finest in movies, TV shows and performances of all kinds, from mainstream to LGBTQ-centric.
Most members identify as somehow queer, be it lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender, though GALECA has straight “ally” journalists in its ranks as well (these members tend to work for LGBTQ-targeted outlets).
OUR MISSION
To remind the world of our community’s influence on the screen arts and society at large as taste-makers and trendsetters.
To champion the art of witty, wise and historically knowledgeable film and TV criticism and entertainment journalism.
To provide fellowship, camaraderie and career support in a time of change and uncertainty in the media.
MEMBERSHIP CRITERIA AND RULES
GALECA members must currently and regularly write or report about television and/or film for at least one legitimate media outlet, be it print, TV, radio or online.
