Another tough call. I'd give the slight edge to JLaw over Julia, with Lupita and Squibbles right behind. Sally Hawkins was very good in Blue Jasmine but nowhere near worthy of a win for the performance. |

J. Law wins and garners more press than Best Actress. |

Roberts deserves the win. N'yongo, Lawrence, Squibb were all good. Hawkins was fine but didn't really leave an impression on me. |

I believe a flaw of Blue Jasmine is the relatively underdeveloped nature of Hawkins' character. I would have enjoyed more scenes with her and her romantic plights, including Louis C.K.'s character. |
