Obviously low-profile with no real bearing on the awards season, but just for a change of pace:

Quote:
Formed in 2003, the International Cinephile Society is an online group made up of approximately 80 accredited journalists, film scholars, historians and other industry professionals who cover film festivals and events on five continents. Each year the ICS honors the finest in American and international cinema.

In addition to award winners for the previous year announced in February, the ICS revealed a Top 100 Films of the 1990s in the first half of 2010. ICS was accredited at the Festival de Cannes in 2010-2013, and also covers a number of other film festivals including Toronto, Vancouver, Rome, San Francisco, AFI, Seattle, Rotterdam and TCM.

I have to say, I'm glad this group of beard scratching chaps understand that the Wolf of Wall Street is the best movie of the year (or okay, one of the best movies, at least in these Johnny Four-Eyes' minds) because of Leonardo DiCaprio.
