If you had told me three years ago that Bradley Cooper and Jonah Hill would not only be Academy Award nominees but also vying for their SECOND Oscars this year, I would have assumed every other actor had died. The obvious choice is Jonah Hill, but Bradley Cooper was probably one of the most bland, vanilla actors ever on television, particularly on Alias. It shocks the hell out of me that he has actually evolved into a really, really good actor. Of course, I know it's possible both will be snubbed next month, but it's crazy that we're even discussing the possibility. |

Jonah Hill obviously. I wouldn't call Cooper one of the most bland, vanilla actors on television. I thought he was good in Alias. |

If Hill gets nominated he will have more nominations than Bale, Oldman, Hardy, Gordon-Levitt or Cotillard have had despite longer careers. And he would tie Hathaway. Nolan, are you listening? |

Cooper has proven to be a really good actor. I'm not saying he's Nicholson-level, but certainly better than I would have predicted. |

The answer to this is still obviously Jonah Hill. Who would have predicted around when Superbad came out that he would be a two-time Academy Award nominee seven years later? |

I'm glad for Bradley Cooper. He deserves the recognition. I can't completely write off Jonah though. He gave two really good performances in both his nominated roles, especially Wolf. I'm sure it's debatable if it was one of the five best supporting performances, but he still impressed. |

Cooper is actually quite good. No surprise really. Hill is a huge surprise - but still deserving. |
