I'm not including Benh Zeitlin or Michael Haneke, as those are the obvious choices, even though I believe both to be deserving. Plus I'm glad they went against the grain and nominated the two directors that everyone included as potential dark horse contenders with no actual chance of a nomination. So if you think Affleck deserved a Best Director nomination at the Oscars, who of the remaining three should have missed instead? |

Affleck did not deserve a nomination. I would kick out David O. Russell or Steven Spielberg for Kathryn Bigelow, though. |

Yea, Affleck didn't really deserve it, in my opinion. I'd probably switch out Spielberg for Bigelow as well, and Lee for Tarantino, though the latter two are at about the same level for me. |

After having seen Argo yesterday, I don't think Affleck has been snubbed. Sure, it's a really nice and tight movie, but it's slightly under his last effort The Town IMHO. |
