Skyfall is the go-to blockbuster of 2012 for awards. |

This solidifies Lincoln's frontrunner status IMO, since ZDT is expected here. If Lincoln could score a sound mixing nom, it could be looking at 12-13 nominations. |

In fact, if Lincoln really blows up, it could go the way of Ghandi or similar big Oscar films, winning 8-9 Oscars. I am predicting five right now, but it could surprise. |

I'm thinking 6 are looking solid: picture, director, actor, supporting actor, screenplay, makeup. Then score is a real possibility. The next possible one is cinematography, and then editing (but feel ZDT has a pretty good lead there). Supporting actress and other techs look to be out of reach. |

Ah, right, didn't see. I am not completely sold on makeup being a lock yet, but it is the frontrunner, indeed. |

I haven't seen Lincoln, ZDT or basically any other big player yet as they haven't been released here but Cinematography HAS to go to Skyfall. |

Lincoln is showing its power now, it will rule the nominations atleast, i think it has a shot at joining Titanic and All About Eve with 14. |
