Michael will be pleased to see Perks cited, but it is hard to tell if it would still be there had either Beasts of the Southern Wild or even Les Misérables been eligible. |

Dr. Lecter wrote: Will Argo win this as well? I'm gonna go ahead and say yes. And I'm taking it as my current prediction for the Oscar as well. I hope Lincoln pulls off the win, though. Between the great dialogue and the ways it keeps an intimate focus on the characters while also capturing the scope of what was going on at the time, it's an especially great script. Not that Argo's script was bad (definitely not), but Lincoln's is on another level, I think. |
