An official stream of the nomination announcement will be offered here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uDmH62tVVGg

There is a countdown clock, too, for people around the world in different time zones.

I wonder if there will be any super-random, dragged-in-by-bigger-star, "no passion" nominees this year. Best Supporting Actor seems open to one: maybe P.S. Hoffman for Ides of March or Jim Broadbent for Iron Lady?

This tiny part of me is still expecting Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close to pop up in Best Picture, lol.

Anyone going to be on a stream where people are going to actually comment on it afterwards?

I'm on the abc news stream and I'm hoping they have some entertainment news commentators talk about it afterward.

They never actually start at exactly 8:30, it's usually more like 8:40.

I'm happy for Melissa. Actor support.
Jonah Hill is now an Oscar nominee!
I still think Viola has this.
Brad Pitt in Moneyball. Oh.
Tree of Life...please.
Bridesmaids for writing. Very nice. Kristin Wiig an Oscar nominee!

Who got left out? I need some input.

Tin Tin didn't make it. Glad Animated is 5 films.
Tree of Life BP? Joke. IMO.
Long list of BP films. No Bridesmaids. Bummer.

Even though he wasn't nominated for Best Director, you have to admit: Oscar is Daldry's bitch.
