Expected strong showing for Tinker Tailor, but needed. Drive also did well. And glad to see The Guard getting some recognition. |

It won't be enough for Tinker, Tailor, though. If anything it maybe reveals the movie isn't resonating with American audiences. I would love more than almost anything for it to be nominated for Best Picture, Best Director, and/or Best Actor at the Oscars, but it just seems out of the realm of possibility at this point. |
