Since the whole "let's get two young actors to host" thing didn't work out for them, The Oscars should be going straight for the funny this year. And not another actor. I fear that's the direction we're going too, after Jane Lynch is set to host the Emmys. Should they go with a comedian, like Jon Stewart, Chris Rock, Steve Martin, etc? An actor-type like Hugh Jackman or Neil Patrick Harris? Or even the Bob Hope of modern Oscar, Billy Crystal? My pick is Stewart/Colbert. Selfishly. |

Personally, I'd like to see the return of David Letterman, but I realize this is unrealistic - - the best marketing choice right now has gotta be Conan. |

Just someone with a comedy background. Conan's a pipe dream. But quit treating it like it's the Tonys (Hugh Jackman) or Amateur Hour (Franco and Hathaway) or Let's Throw These Two Funny Guys Together and See What Happens (Martin and Baldwin). |

Tina Fey and Steve Carell would be cool. Date Night wasn't a great movie, but I found their chemistry appealing and memorable. |
