Okay, The King's Speech is clearly going to walk away with it. Will it actualy win both Best Film and Best British Film? I remember The Queen won one, but not the other. Can't believe Never Let Me Go was completely shut out. Quite weird. Also, only two nominations for Harry Potter! Pete Postlethwaite for The Town? Heh The Social Network is rather weak here. No Score or Cinematography nominations. The hell? Toy Story 3 for Visual Effects? Oh my... The Kids Are All Right keeps showing strength in the acting department. Mark Ruffalo should be a lock for a nomination now and Julianne Moore is back in the game. No Melissa Leo for The Fighter! And Hailee Steinfield is as Best Actress here...so who'll win best Supporting Actress? Carter, I suppose. |

I wonder if category confusion will hurt Steinfeld to miss the nomination completely. The supporting actress category continues to be a mess. The last spot in Actor is still open (think Bridges is safe now). No score for TSN? Good to see Moore finally showed up. |

Though if Hailee does get into the lead category at Oscars she doesn't stand a chance, but she has won quite a number so far in the supporting role. Portman is just unstoppable now. |

Hailee shoudn't be in the supporting category in any award, she was clearly the lead in the entire film, hell, i think she was in every scene. |
