Cannot even believe THE TOURIST received three nominations. What a joke. They could have given one of those spots to Jim Carrey for I LOVE YOU, PHILLIP MORRIS, which critics all seem to agree he's terrific in. Plus, you'd think they'd want Jim Carrey in attendance as the Globes are such star whores.

I'm at least happy about the BLUE VALENTINE and THE KIDS ARE ALL RIGHT love. Hopefully this means Michelle Williams will be nominated for Best Actress at the Oscars.

It wouldn't be a fun season without HFPA. I think they do it for shiz and giggles.

I love TGW love. And yay for right MF actors getting recognition (though I still think Ferguson is the best male there, but Stonestreet is right behind). I'm also very glad Dexter is still going strong with noms in its fifth season.

I was secretly hoping for Terriers to get a surprise nom.

The Comedy/Musical category is a joke and should be thrown out.

Can anyone really be surprised that the foreign press enjoyed the Euro-style thriller The Tourist? Just because the Yanks like ADD action these days, doesn't mean that others can't enjoy the languid rhythm of this underrated film.

They also nominated Red, which is a full-on American muscle car of a movie.

They're star-whoring, not celebrating European cinema.
