dude they DQ everyone in this category. if there's a will (which there will be), there's a way. also, james murphy is scoring noah baumbach's new movie. but that definitely won't be eligible (apparently there's galaxie 500 (!) on the soundtrack as well). |

James Murphy could be eligible. There are other songs on the soundtrack--one by Galaxie 500, one by Albert Hammond, etc.--but I believe Murphy's score in and of itself is original. Daft Punk nominated for an Oscar would be exciting. ![]() I am still slightly angry they DQ'd Jonny Greenwood a few years ago. ![]() |

I heard they are incorporating the last Tron soundtrack a little bit, so it may be DQed on that basis... |
