 Question about the Oscar presenters this year If I remember correctly a couple of weeks ago it was said that unlike last year, where five previous winners presented the acting Oscars, this year it would be a friend of the winner.
If they (apart from the P&W lawyers), don't know who's gonna win, how are they going to do it? It's obvious that if the presenter is Jack Nicholson the Oscar will go to Streep and not Bullock, and if the presenter is Keanu Reeves it's going to be the opposite way.
Or will they have someone that reads out the winner, and then depending on who he/she is, then the friend comes in to hand out the price?

In any case, it's a terrible idea.
