Post subject:  Which of the ten Best Picture nominees should win?
It doesn't matter if this is realistic or not. If it was up to you, which of the ten nominees would you go for?

My vote would go to The Hurt Locker (so there's a good chance I'll actually be satisfied with this year's result!).

The Hurt Locker

Up in the Air

I liked Hurt Locker but the movie which I go for will be Avatar because after few years from now I will be seeing Avatar and would forget about Hurt Locker.

Without having seen Up in the Air, Precious, Blind Sinde, An Education and A Serious Man I'll say either Avatar or Hurt Locker.

Without having seen half of the nominees, it's District 9, followed by Avatar, then Hurt Locker. Basterds and Up don't deserve to be nominated, at all.

I don't know... I just can't help but think that they're going to give BP to Avatar. No matter how hard I hope for The Hurt Locker, they're going to give it to the big movie.

If it comes down to Avatar Vs. The Hurt Locker

Inglourious Basterds, A Serious Man and Up in the Air are my 1-2-3 of the year. Hurt Locker, Up and Avatar are my 5-7-8.

Needless to say, I'm happy with most of the contenders here.

With TBS getting nominated, I think the Oscars are now going mainstream.
