Spider-Man 2 The Day After Tomorrow Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow The first two are pretty much locks. Sky Captain is shaky because of the audience reaction and box office. Academy could forget about it in a couple of months. However, A.I. wasn't particularly liked by the audience either and was snubbed in many technical categories, but it still got a Visual Effect nomination. So I'll stick with Sky Captain for the last spot. |

My vote goes to Spiderman 2.I wouldnt argue with anyone who chose TDAT,Those effects were stunning also,except for those ridiculouse looking CGI wolves. |

I don't think there is any doubt that Spider-Man 2 will win. I think Harry Potter's quality as a movie and as a special effects piece makes it a good nominee (Buckbeak!) I think Sky Captain will bring up the rear. |

OSCAR NOMINATIONS: I, Robot Harry Potter and the Prizoner of Azkaban Spider-Man 2 I am somewhat surprised about The Aviator's ommission, but as for now, I'd say Spider-Man 2 is a lock for a win. |
