Besides Diane Kruger (who is a completely surprise pick, but a good one) this is a bunch of already default names this year.

I think so. I'm predicting it.

So Up in the Air = Juno/Michael Clayton/The Queen?

Really boring nominations. The only surprise is Kruger, and while she was good I wouldn't really give her a nomination. Oh well, I loved Basterds so I'm not upset. I just wish the wonderful Laurent would get some love. They should have campaigned her for supporting actress. Of course, then she could get in over Julianne Moore, and I wouldn't really want that. Anyway, Moore will be in when the Academy Award nominations are announced. I think this is probably one of the only lists of nominees that Kruger will show up on.

Poor Bright Star. It has been left out of EVERYTHING. I can't believe it. I wish Cornish would get in instead of Bullock. Or anyone instead of Bullock. It's not Bullock I have a problem with, it's that stupid movie. And of course I don't feel her performance was anything special. Sadly, she's a lock to get in.

I "kind of" wish they would have opened up the acting categories to 10 nominations. There are just too many great performances (this isn't the case every year though) that won't get a chance to shine with only five spots.

So Kruger is the big WTF nom this year. I don't get it. Laurent was better than her and despite the campaign, she was not lead.

The biggest winner here is clearly Inglourious Basterds with three nominations including Best Ensemble and I expect it to win Ensemble too.

The Ensemble nom for Nine seems like a default nomination and keeps the film on life support.

Up in the Air mimics Michael Clayton in terms of SAG nominations - three acting noms and yet no Ensemble nomination.

I'm sad Star Trek missed out on an Ensemble nom.

Pretty weird that An Education got an Ensemble nom, yet no nomination for Molina to be found.

The Hurt Locker got another big boost with its Ensemble nom. Renner is very close to being a lock for a Best Actor nomination.
