Well, maybe...because the fashion was atrocious.

Amy Adam...thumbs way up!
Natalie Portman...thumbs up.
Evan Rachel Wood...thumbs up?
That obnoxious Miley G-rated girl...thumbs up *unfortunately*

On the men's side, only Mickey really had a sense of style, but PSH did okay, too.

I have a soft spot for Tilda. Sure, it wasn't flattering, but it wasn't bad, and its timeless Orlando.

But really, what an awful fashion year. What in the world?

Who did you like/didn't like/respected the accesories but loathed the outfit?

I actually didn't mind Miley's dress. At least it was different, and the back was really nice. What was up with all the creamy white gowns this year? Everyone trying to appear as bland and virginal as possible? I thought Viola at least had character, and shame on y'all for not giving Adams props! I thought it was daring for a red-head to go with a red gown and she definitely pulled it off. The accessories were colorful and different and worked really well with the entire ensemble.

On the men's side, I disagree with keeping it simple; every guy looked exactly the same. That why I at least applauded Hoffman, and rourke really did have a sense of style even though his face is frozen from surgery/strokes/drugs whatever.

Cruz looked terribly bland. What was up with the utter lack of personal flare?

Klum's dress was not flattering, though at least she was trying something new and couture out, and her jewelry was nice.

Witherspoon picked a great dress again! Year after year she rarely dissappoints.

Overall, except for a handful of people, I thought the fashion was dull this year. People weren't taking risks, and most opted for really bland colors and make-up. Sad really. The fashion is always the best part.

I liked Adams! And I disagree with police on Miley, it was quite nice, and she looked like she loved it, which can sell most any dress.

I dug Miley's dress. I liked her in interviews, too. She seemed honest, unaffected, unguarded. Refreshing.

Redheads actually go with red color. I should know. I'm one. I'm not a big fan of it, but red shirts etc look better on me than most of the other colors.
