I'd be wary of Nine's chances.


No matter how sure a certain film seems in a year..recently, whenever Loyal started the support before the Oscar noms, those films ended up missing BP.

2006:

Dreamgirls was pushed hard, got PGA, DGA and SAG noms and missed out despite seven noms.

2007:

Okay, Sweeney Todd didn't come as close, but remember, it was Loyal's man film to oush before the Oscars.

2008:

This time, Loyal threw himself behind WALL-E and The Dark Knight, both of them. Both had a lot going for it too. At least one of them was predicted to be nominated by almost evrryone - and both missed.


In other words: we've got the ultimate BP snub predictor now - Loyal's passion and support!

Don't forget Little Miss Sunshine and Sideways.

As I said, it started in recent years (remembering that you have, indeed, pushed Sideways....but it was mostly AFTER the noms).

And LMS doesn#t count. You clearly pushed Dreamgirls more until it was nommed...you were then on the LMS-win bandwagon, I think.

Im glad Little Miss Sunshine didnt win. Sideways should have won. Dreamgirls should have been nominated.
