It's on the front of Oscarwatch now, so it appears to be confirmed.

I don't understand how Atonement tops the "Top Ten" list (and There Will Be Blood only gets #11), but then There Will Be Blood goes on to win Best Picture? I'm confused, maybe someone can clarify it for me.

Peace,
Mike

Remove the numbers from the Top Ten list. It took me forever to realize it was alphabetical.

Great, great day for Diving Bell and TWBB. Also a good day for Polley, snatching up two (deserving) debut awards.

ABCDEF...

Then why did they put in numbers? Silly goons. And once again we have another sneaky group putting in 11 films into a "Top Ten" list. Heh. I think soon all top ten lists will become "Top Eleven" lists.

Peace,
Mike

Oh, also a big day for Before the Devil's cast (Looking good for a SAG nom) and Greenwood in Score (Though whether the Oscars will get over their snootiness and allow a member of a rock band a Score nom is a whole other matter).

And yeah, it seems more and more likely that too few NBR members saw TWBB.

There Will Be Blood just pretty much assured itself a position as another lock for BP/BD noms this year.

Before the Devil Knows You're Dead
continues to hang in there.

Danny Elfman was in a very famous rock band.

And has received far too little love. They even snubbed him for flippin' Batman and Edward Scissorhands, two of the most iconic scores EVER.

There Will Be Blood :shades: :shades: :shades: :shades:

i knew the NBR was an unscreened/uneligible thing. I'm glad this is still a hot contender, with its four wins

There will be blood is a lock for nominations.
And i think Daniel Day Lewis is clearly the front runner for best actor.
