And another win for the Cloonster. Wtf is going on. Maybe another group that hasn't seen Lewis and Depp?

 Re: San Fran Film Critics
Hm, Christie is beginning to look rather dominant over Cotillard in the critics race. At least Polley now has an award under her belt other than "Best/Most Promising New Filmmaker."
Nice left-of-center win, though they had a similar awarding last year with Little Children. And they also awarded Julie Delpy three years ago, which makes them kinda-sorta-awesome.

 Re: San Fran Film Critics
Assassination of Jesse James really could become a late-race contender...even though it's got a TON of competition to face.
Clooney is basically locked in for a nom now, something I'm really shocked to say.
Ryan is COMPLETELY locked in for a nom now, something I'm really shocked to say.
Affleck's looking really really good for Supporting Actor. He's basically been the only non-Bardem winner in this category so far, which bodes very well for his chances at a nomination.
and I would just LOVE to see Jenkins get a Screenplay nod for The Savages. It was so wonderful and probably won't get any other major noms.

 Re: San Fran Film Critics
God I'm so behind on this years crop of movies. Amy Ryan looks so good for the win right now...I don't think they will reward Cate so soon after her last win, which only adds to Amy's eventual win.

 Re: San Fran Film Critics
Amy Ryan is, IMO, for now the equal frontrunner for BSA at the Oscars. Blanchett has won not too long ago and the Academy members might want to wait until they can give her a Best Actress award.

I'm quite excited about seeing Jesse James tomorrow, by the way.
