Shocks: Dreamgirl snubbed in Best Picture, Bill Condon for Best Director, Jack Nicholason Best Supporting Actor, Letters to Iwo Jima getting Best Picture Nod, Dijoun Hamsou best supporting actor nod, Volver snubbed in Best Foregin Language Pleasent Shocks/suprises: Abigail Breslin for LIttle Miss Sunshine, Paul Greengrass Best Director Nod, Children of Men, Screenplay. Wow, the Academy always throws us a curve don't they? No Dreamgirls? No Jack? And a Bow to the Academy for throwing a bone to my top 2 films of the year, United 93 and Children of Men. Both of those movies got the best they could have potentially recieved. |
