Feel like they have down syndrome.

Blood Diamond FIVE times? The Good Shephard? Flags of our Fathers AND Adam Beach? Running With Scissors? Or, my personal favorite, Keeping Up With The Steins? Really? This group is an all-time easy lay. I can't believe Bobby was relegated to only one nomination.

And I liked it a lot, but Little Miss Sunshine was about as "Original, Innovative or Creative" as the fried chicken they ate in the movie.

Running with Scissors should not be on any list other then the Razzies.

Ouch.

No.

Benning was good and the film gets an honorary award for properly using an Elton John song.

RwS still pisses me off. It was supposed to be perfect.

I'll give you that. Benning was "good", I wouldn't say "great" but she was adequate in the role. She didn't capture the character though in my opinion.

And yes, the Elton John song-scene was great (but totally different from the book).

Yeah, the book (sans ending) was amazing. The movie...not so much.

Djimon Hounsou? Goddamnit, these people are not critics. STOP IT. You guys are making Jeffrey Lyons and Joel Siegel and their ilk look good.

This is not the only group to award Djimon Hounsou. Washington critics, Las Vegas critics and the NBR also awarded him with the win (and he received a nomination at the SAGs).

Peace,
Mike.

I know, and I was referring to every group that sees fit to award him. Don't defend them.

It never gets any easier!

The Best Supporting Actor race is still the most interesting one at the moment.

And looks like they REALLY loved Running with Scissors in St. Louis.
