LOL, Gotta love Natalie Portman getting an Actress nod. I had a long discussion about this for the Oscars about whether it should / could happen and how it was decided which category to nominate. Glad someone else sees the sense in this. Even if it was the British. |

Some observations: 1. House of Flying Daggers did well again. I'll put Zhang Yimou as a serious nomination spoiler for the best director race. 2. I don't think Million Dollar Baby has been released in U.K. 3. Imelda Staunton is nominated for Actress of the Year, but not British Actress of the Year, while Kate Winslet has the other way around. |
