I think for Best Pic, if it's really great, it will get lost in the mix. Its best chances are in the acting categories. Nicholas Hytner and Alan Bennett scored before with The Madness of King George (actor, s. actress, a. screenplay, and a win for art direction). Hytner also directed The Crucible which got some nominations as well, so his track record for plays turned into films looks okay. |
