Post subject:  WOKJ "BP Nominees" Club Pick 1: Dangerous Liaisons
Well, the poll is close and you have voted. It was a tight race, but Dangerous Liaisons won it by one vote. Democracy is democracy, so we have our first pick.

So here is what should happen:

Over the next two weeks, you should get the film (buy it or rent it or borrow it) and post your opinion on it here. The more discussion on the movie here, the better. Especially welcome are the discussion on whether it deserved its nominations or not and what it should have won etc. I am glad about every contribution. I really hope that every member manages to see it, since we need a good start for this club to get it going. Remember, you have exactly TWO WEEKS starting today. Dangerous Liasons is one of my most favorite movies. Great first pick! I'll join in the talks for the ones I know, especially this one. Though I think some people aren't going to be so shocked by it since everyone has seen Cruel Intentions. The first time I saw Liasons I was completly entranced by Glenn Close and her manipulations.

Ugh, looks like my small-ish Video Stop doesn't have this movie. Unless I can download it somehow, I probably won't be able to watch. I'll also check my local library which rents movies, it's closed on Sundays though so I'll have to do it tomorrow.

Ha. Granted, it's the VHS :oops:, but at least it's the movie. They do have lots of old and new DVDs, though.

@Dolce: Yup, whenever I have nothing coming from Netflix, I always try to go in and get a few. They have a huge selection.
