Post subject:  SAG Noms and Winners vrs. Oscar Noms and Winners 2001-2004

With the SAG awards coming up tomorrow at 8PM, I wanted to start this thread to avoid what could turn into the bi polar notions that usually take place in the box office forum, when members start running around like chickens with their heads cut off. You'll see how there are different mindsets and politics involved than there is at the Oscars and such.

Below are the SAG nominations and winners and the Oscar nominations and winners in BLUE directly below each category for that same year. They don't always match up, and the eventual Oscar winner is sometimes not even nominated by SAG.

Well, the last 2 years have been completley spot-on at least. 7 out of 8 wins.

If anything, the discrepancy probably makes the Felicity Huffman camp happy. With the SAGs often seperate, it leaves the door wide open for THE BIGGEST UPSET OF ALL TIME.

Though I still think Reese will win easily.

2001 was a very weird year for SAG and Oscar.. and Nicole Kidman definitely got her voted splitted between Moulin Rouge and The Others (I'd award her for both  )
