You know what REALLY brings a smile to my face? Val Kilmer winning for the funniest performance of 2005...Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.

Geisha won Best Adapted Screenplay? Hmmm

And it certainly doesn't look good for Phoenix if he even didn't manage to win here against Howard (or was that against Hoffman? I think not).

Don't think these mean much of anything. Still it's good for Terrence Howard to beat out Phoenix for Best Actor - Comedy/Musical. Memoirs of a Geisha won the most unlikely category, adapted screenplay, while lost on all the techs, even though Brokeback Mountain swept Picture - Drama, Director, Editing, and Song.

Xiayun, I could star at your avatar for eternity

Good for Witherspoon! The Oscars loves beautiful, blonde women, so she should be the favourite, heh.

This is just all over the place... and doesn´t mean anything. ;)

Still, I guess that somehow solifies Hoffman, Huffman, Witherspoon, Lee and Brokeback, and It´s good to see Laura Linney getting something. But the Danny Huston award must be a joke...

Even though they're meaningless, I found it interesting that Memoirs keeps being on the radar here and there. It's not getting too much that people would start thinking "why it's doing so well with a 30% RT rating", which would result more backlash, but getting just enough to keep its players (techs and more importantly, Ziyi and Gong Li) in play.

Yes, although alone these dn't mean much, Brokeback's resume keeps building and building.

Can't believe Howard beat out Phenoix!! I mean, it was even separated into musical/comedy and drama!
