Maybe I'm really, really behind here, but it looks like All the King's Men is coming out this year. RottenTomatoes.com and the movie's website itself (http://www.sonypictures.com/movies/allthekingsmen/) both cite December 16th, 2005 as its release day.

Unfortunately it's not. Neither site has updated that info for a long time.

Maybe they should have kept it in 05 considering Geisha, Jarhead, Munich and a few others have not been received as well as expected.

If it stayed in 2005, with a good push, forget getting nominated, I'd be willing to bet that it would be in the top 2 contenders spot easily right now. If Munich continues to be mediocore, it'd be #1 and the winner.

I don't think it's that simple. If Sony had really believed they have a real contender at hand, I doubt they would've moved it. They would've finished editing in time. There were some positive words, but I also heard someone said it's an absolute mess, so the actual quality is a concern.
