Has the Oscar Host been picked yet? In searching, I didn't see a person named yet.

ALSO, Do you have a preference on who you would like to see host the Oscars this year?

No host yet.

I have to think about who I'd like. Not Whoopi, not Chris Rock, not Billy Crystal.

I'd be ok with Steve Martin again.

I shall think it over.

I was wondering how Adam Sandler would go over?

Martin would work. I don't want Rock again. He was annoying and not funny in the least. They could also try someone new, like Sandler for example.

I don't think Adam Sandler would be a good choice. At all. For one, he's not funny. But that's a personal opinion.

What I don't think can be debated is that he just doesn't have the charisma for a job like that. Ever seen him give a live intervew? It's kinda painful.

That's OK - no debate coming. Just an explanation.

I only mentioned him because sometimes I think the host should just move the show along better and leave the jokes to the comedy shops. Most times the jokes don't work, anyway. I would rather see a free-flowing show.

Martin was very funny, although It seems not many people share that opinion... I´d go with someone new, like Ellen DeGeneres, or Robin Williams - I don´t like him as an actor, but have the impression he is quite a great showman.

Hasn't Robin Williams hosted before - this could have been awhile ago though.

'Cause you were born in the '70's

;)

The problem with Robin Williams - ABC would have to use the 6-second delay a LOT.
