Welp, you all drove him away. You're to blame.

I actually think he was a good host. His banter in and between presenters was really funny, and where I expected him to be bad, turned out to be a real highlight (Von Trapp, Benjamin Affleck, and the Lincoln Jokes were great, and many others killed). He's a good singer, and overall charming. His humor in the opening is what kind of misfired. It was funny, but being mixed with the bizarrely serious songs in between made the overall experience too jarring. The rest was very good, and I'd welcome him back. He should have stuck with some way to put a new spin on the Insert yourself into this years movies bit. Whoever produced the show, made the rest very uneven though.

I'd give his hosting on par with Ellen and Jon Stewart, but his brand of humor at least has a way to be different, and I'd welcome him back.

Charlize Theron and Naomi Watts looked really pissed during the boob song. I wonder what Kate Winslet thought.

Think that was on purpose. Their reactions were pre-recorded from the rehearsal, as was the gif of Lawrence in Lecter's signature.

In rewatching it I can sort of see it in Naomi - the guy next to her actually looks directly at her boobs too. Plus she did Movie 43 after all. Charlize looks too serious though. If these reactions were staged, they strike me as a bit odd. And the other women in the audience around them look singularly uncomfortable about it all. It's been noted that several of the boob mentions were in roles played by rape victims. Kind of bizarre. But overall I thought it was a fun way to shake things up.

Personally I like Seth though and thought he did a good job overall.

Ok ok. I don't give half a shit about fashion though so I don't pay attention to that. Even if I did I would not have noticed that.
