I will say out of respect, the man has defined the Western genre like no other, including Sergio Leone who merely reinvented it. But all Ford films I have seen are just so damn cheesy. I wanted to like the Searchers, I really did, but acting is just too campy without being self-aware of its own camp.

No, just a few John Wayne westerns.
Also, I didn't know Tarantino ranted against John Ford. In fact my only memory of anything Tarantino related on the subject of John Ford is during an interview with Tarantino when the interviewer asked if Tarantino used the influence of other directors, such as John Ford, Tarantino simply said yes or something, I don't remember.
