Last year, NBR named only five of the eventual nine BP nominees. They didn't mention Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, Midnight in Paris, Moneyball and The Help. 2010 they named seven out of ten, missing The Kids Are All Right, Black Swan and 127 Hours.
2009 they named six out of the te nominees, missing The Blind Side, Avatar, District 9 and Precious.
So yeah....don't read too much into their omissions of Life of Pi and The Master.
