At all. yes. it's refreshing to see someone that actually even really liked the thing say this. i feel like people are saying these sorts of ridiculous, hyperbolic things simply because it's a movie involving facebook, not because it actually makes any sort of compelling statement on our society or "generation" (it doesn't). I disagree, except not really. it touches on critique of our generation/society but not to an hyperbolic degree that you are attacking. I agree it is being blown far out of proportion, yet I still like it far more than most movies this year for quite excellent (imo) craft.

The film works for me because of many reasons, none of which being that it's a sort of cultural-zeigest film. I guess I shouldn't have bothered with the previous statement, magnus already made it for me. Also, how the fuck is makeshift being condescending at all other than he hasn't added (IMO!!!! ZOMGGG) after his statements?
