Re: Golden Globe Discussion Thread You know, on on hand I am glad that genre films can win Best Picture and Best Director these days, but it still kind of bugs me when a film wins those things without even being nominated for writing or acting.

Though I am most pissed about (500) DAYS OF SUMMER losing Best Comedy or Musical to THE HANGOVER. Now SUMMER has pretty much no chance of a Best Picture nomination.
These were very boring and disappointing.

Really we should stop falsely praising films because they have "cool actors" and praise films that actually entertain.
