Re: Best Documentary Race (Finding This Year's Man On Wire)
I could easily see FOOD, INC. winning. It will be nominated for sure. I hope THE COVE is nominated. CAPITALISM will probably be nominated, but no way in hell will it win even being the year's top documentary.

Capitalism will almost definitely not be the top documentary if you're referring to BO. That will almost certainly be "This Is It"

Exactly. If they don't know how to behave, and feel OK offending others, they get their ass kicked, so they'll think next time before opening their rotten mouths.

Well I'm not counting that, just like I wouldn't count the Jonas Brothers concert movie, or the Hannah Montana concert movie. I mean regular documentaries, not music ones or stand up comedy ones. For some reason I never see those as "real" documentaries.

The Cove is entertaining, but deeply silly and arrogant.
Food, Inc. however, wasn't even entertaining.

I think I have only ever seen one (non-animal) documentary that I really liked.

I read that The Cove is very manipulative. True?
