How the hell was Little Children overlooked?
Its straight in at number 3 on my 2006 list. Depressing as hell but brilliant, its like an even more bizarre version of American Beauty I loved it.
What idiot is responsible for not pushing this movie more?
(Dislclaimer: I still love Co M more, Snrub don't excommunicate me)

Yea, I dunno what happened. At least Kate and Jackie (Hopefully) will be nominated. It was an awesome movie.

It wasn't that high up on my list but definitely top 10 worthy.
New Line fucked up really bad. I don't know what on earth they were thinking.
Kate Winslet was nothing short of spectacular. It might have been her best work (I haven't seen everything of hers though). This year was an INCREDIBLE year for women. 3 performances DESESERVE to WIN the oscar and KAte is one of them.
Patrick Wilson was also amazing. Too bad he didn't get any attention.

Little Children is rivaling Children of Men as the best film of 2006 in my opinion. It's a real shame it got overlooked. Brilliant.
Patrick Wilson was hot, too.

It's very small and got almost no promotion by its lameduck studio.
At least Kate Winslet and Jackie Earle Haley will presumably be nominated (it will probably get a screenplay nomination as well), and for good reason.
