But yeah, I am loving the industry's acceptance of Fury Road. Not really industry's acceptance, but critics, which shouldn't really be a surprise given its reviews (18 100s at MC and an 89 average).Whether academy members should go for it beyond technical nominations remain to be seen. Guilds will show the level of industry acceptance.

Re: Boston Society of Film Critics Winners The two demographics are quite different though. Critics groups, especially the online ones, skew younger and with more diverse background and taste, while academy members are 94% white, 76% men, and have an average age of 63.

But I still feel that Fury Road has been widely accepted. Critics, movie-goers, cinephiles...it's ONLY the Academy that is left.
