 Re: Best Animated Feature 2013 Depends on your definition of WTF choices. Barring a few exceptions, Best Animated has actually been a very reasonable category at the Academy. The only huge blunder I remember is Shark Tale being nominated.
I mean if Ernest & Celestine gets in, that wouldn't be a WTF choice, given how well-received and supposedly great it is. Just like Chico & Rita was a great choice as well and so was The Secret of Kells.

Re: Best Animated Feature 2013 I think the Wind Rises is starting to crash and burn, at this point after the lack of a PGA nom or a BAFTA nom, I wonder if the Academy will even remember its existence.

Re: Best Animated Feature 2013 So another year without a Pixar film in competition. (They also weren't nominated in 2011 when "Cars 2" stunk up the theaters). And then there is no Pixar film in 2014 either...
