 Which of the Globes' Best Picture (Comedy) nominees-- would you truly classify first and foremost as a comedy? As in, hypothetical conversation:
Person A: What type of movie is it?
You: A couple different vibes, I guess, but mainly funny. A comedy.
Or:
Person A: I love funny movies. Recommend me one?
You: ...

haven't seen August Osage County yet but is that even a comedy?

Re: Which of the Globes' Best Picture (Comedy) nominees-- You could call it a very dark comedy. It is from the same playwright/screenwriter as Killer Joe, and though obviously less violent, it has a similar sense of humor.

Though none of these are really comedy films. They fall under the dramedy category. Wolf did have the most moments that gave the audience I watched it with full on laughter.
