Weird...The Dark Knight Rises and Skyfall shut out and Battleship got a nom, even though it's not even on the shortlist for the Oscars. VES looooooves CGI effects.

They should have nominated John Carter (an undervalued film with great CGI) instead of Battleship.

The Rust and Bone nomination is incredibly deserving.
