Not at all, but this reaching for a reason to argue with me is getting pathetic. If I had listed BEST ACTOR, which I didn't, you may have had a point to post that in this thread that's concerning a best actor, Jamie foxx.

And creating a thread about Eastwood beating Foxx isn't?

I'm going to post my comments in my very first post, and you can tell me from the parts that I highlight, how you came to that conclusion. Like I said, you are REALLY reaching.
"Just to play devil's advocate here, I wanted to discuss a very real possibility about the Best Actor award, and even though I fully expect Foxx to bring home the gold at the Oscars"
I guess in your world, that's "creating a thread about Eastwood beating Foxx" ](*,)

Now one thing that interests me, Mav... Do you really think Eastwood is more deserving of an Oscar than Foxx?

Eastwood gave a more emotional performance. I can't go into more detail about that, because you haven't seen M$B yet. He is an actor who has never been given his due, and mostly because he was busy doing movies that played up to his image more than his acting talents. He directed his own performance.
Foxx gave a performance so good, that it really seemed like he was Ray Charles. The way he moved, the way he played, the way he talked, etc... Like Hillary Swank learning how to box and getting into tremendous shape for the role, Foxx had to do many things for prep that Eastwood didn't have to. He also had to wear those prostetics on his eyes.
Both gave great performances. Both are very deserving of their nominations, and would be deserving if they one. Foxx would get my vote.
