 Re: 2007 AFI Selections
No Atonement, though The Queen wasn't on the list last year either, so there's probably some debate on its American-ness. With that in mind, Diving Bell's placement is all the more amazing.
Knocked Up's placement is cool, though I think The 40-Year-Old Virgin made the list two years ago?
Overall, not too many surprises.

 Re: 2007 AFI Selections
They pretty much got it right. Awesome for Diving Bell, Rat, and The Savages.

awesome list! On top of expected likes No Country and TWBB, some of my favorites of the year, Ratatouille, Knocked Up, and The Savages make it in!

That's a damn good list. Knocked Up, Into the Wild, Juno, Blood, Diving Bell... nice to see them all there!

 Re: 2007 AFI Selections
Good push for Before The Devil Knows You're Dead, it's lacking some support at the moment.
No Sweeney Todd, hm? Not very good. No Hairspray either. Do they have something against musicals. Charlie Wilson's War not making the list further confirms its rather dead status.
No American Gangster as well...
I'm not surprised about Knocked Up. Borat made their list last year too.

 Re: 2007 AFI Selections
That last year list is probably the worst top ten I've ever seen.
