The sequel to Venom (2018) and Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021), and the fifth film in Sony's Spider-Man Universe (SSU), it was written and directed by Kelly Marcel. Tom Hardy stars as Eddie Brock and Venom alongside Chiwetel Ejiofor, Juno Temple, Rhys Ifans, Peggy Lu, Alanna Ubach, and Stephen Graham. In the film, Brock and Venom are on the run from both of their worlds. But it is generally entertaining and kind of gets better as it goes. Thought the addition of Rhys Ifens and his family helped. I saw this at a drive-in so the real highlight for me was watching Nightmare on Elm Street (40th anniversary screening) afterwards. Perfect movie for the drive-in and brought back those 80s childhood feels.
