This is a wonderful father-son relationship story that has strong performances from Steve Zahn and Jillian Bell. I just found the social commentary topics to be distracting here and even though Sasha Knight is delightful I didn't find the story around the character very engaging. The ending while unpredictable also goes a little too awry and while the two actors make the most of it the movie could have left a bigger emotional impact. The backdrops and cinematography are gorgeous throughout.
